First, I have to say that it’s an insult to the legacy of Charlie Chaplin to compare him to Dr. Evil, I mean McCain.
But most importantly I have to add to the pure joy of the EW&F concert! Had a great time, enjoyed their fantastic music and marveled at their musicianship. Hearing my favorite song “Fantasy” live and that close, gave me a hearfelt joy I can’t describe. Yay!

no disdain from me, a trace of envy maybe….

looks like it was a terrific time. the joy of performance is just something no one can manufacture. it’s either there or it isn’t and when it is it makes the experience a joy for everyone.

oh, and regarding the concert:

I’ve just got to say it again – Philip Bailey’s voice is amazing! That he is still able to not only hit those notes, but to hit them for two hours….

I feel bad that we didn't take a picture with Orville Redenbacker. He looked so lonel - oh. That was John McCain!?!?!? Damn, he's not aging well, is he?

I think they should simply give you press access to all Fresno concerts, since you take such fab pictures. Sarah seems to like being spoon fed.

Ah, Earth, Wind and Fire. I saw them once in Wembley. Even though they came out of a highly humourous globe that opened like a clamshell, you had to go with it.

karim – yeah, I remember that era. The Cow Palace show was also set and effects heavy with Maurice White battling some kind of laser beast. Still… WOW!
