Some of you know that I do have some very talented, creative and accomplished Malaysian friends. I’m talking about folk like Kien and Mike who are both stellar musicians.
Over the years I have continually kept an eye out for other talent… and some have emerged. The 2 right now that are making some impressive inroads into the indi pop scene are Yuna and Zee Avi. And we are talking about international touring, sold out shows with audience sing-a-long type success.
This both makes me smile and inspires me. I’ll let their work speak for themselves.

sorry i’ve been rather scarce lately. as i catch up…so glad you’ve been around here since before i even started blogging and that i have the privilege of counting you among long time blog pals. love the camera count and your dad’s advice is terrific. thanks for the haiti links too. i have not known what to say in addressing it at my place but it’s been weighing on me. and this is a terrific post to celebrate someone creative. rock on!
